About me

Hi! I'm Remy Dovianus (1984) from Lelystad, The Netherlands, but some friends call me REMAI, a nickname that’s stuck for the last 10 years. I’m a visual (2D/3D) artist and music producer.

Art
Drawing has been a part of my life since I was a kid, and over time, I’ve developed my own wonky style that blends sketchy, bold lines with edgy, playful characters. More recently, I’ve been diving into 3D art using Blender and Unreal Engine, creating both video and static image renders. I’ve had the pleasure of creating album artwork for several artists like Hed Pe (Sandmine) and my own bands / projects (Frontstreet / Ambiossis / REMAI).

My artwork spans both digital and traditional forms, using paint markers and watercolors on paper to keep things raw and expressive. Here, you’ll find both original pieces and prints available for purchase.

Music
Music is another huge part of my life. With over 25 years in rock, metal, and electronic music, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of my idols. I've contributed to 2 albums for one of my favorite childhood bands; Hed PE and members from Limp Bizkit (dj Lethal), Sublime (dj Product'69), and members of Ill Niño / Machine Head (Cristian Machado / Ahrue Luster), Drowning Pool (Jasen Moreno), Story of the Year, and Zardonic. Also won a fun remix competition for Enter Shikari back in 2010!

I’ve had the privilege of performing with my previous bands, Frontstreet and Ambiossis, alongside acts like Limp Bizkit, Hollywood Undead, and Dope D.O.D. + having a music video rotated on MTV and national Dutch radio (3FM)—experiences I’ll truly never forget.
